We initially work with the client to understand customer behaviour and their full catalog and offering, as well as their key markets and competitors. We then build out search accounts manually, with a focus on lower funnel, exact match queries. We have years of proven success when on-boarding PPC accounts and typically expand the exact match coverage by 4x. This leads to more control, cheaper CPCs and improved performance.
Most brands we work with also want to scale new customer acquisition and revenue, in addition to just improving efficiency. We often use RLSA and demographic / behavioural data to appear on broader head terms (e.g. sofa or dress) when we believe users are most likely to convert.
With Google moving towards automation, we also have an automated process to build out product-level DSA campaigns to individual product URLs. This allows ad copy to be extremely relevant whilst also proving more control over bidding.
